Is there and Air Fryer Lid for the 8 Quart Instant pot?
Instant Pot does not make a separate 8 Quart Air Fryer Lid however they do have an 8qt Instant Pot Duo Crisp that is a combo pressure cooker and air fryer.
You cannot use the the 6qt Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid on the 8qt Instant pot.
Do you use oil in the Instant pot Air Fryer lid?
You do not use oil in the bottom of your inner pot however if you would like to crisp something up or add crunch to your food lightly spray your food with olive oil before you put it in your air fryer basket.
Does the Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid lock?
The Instant Pot Air Fryer Lid will not lock like the normal pressure cooking lid does. It will sit on top of the instant pot with your inner pot however you will need to make sure the air fryer lid is placed correctly on top. Once it is in place you will here a musical alert letting you know.
The one things to note is the Instant Pot Air Fry Lid is only compatible with the stainless steel inner pot NOT the ceramic inner pot.
